I wonder if this was the same family of Crockery that knew in 1942 when I worked in Dornom Store Salcombe 72 Fore St. Owned by John Dornom. The manager named Crockery left in 1942 to Join the Army. Also there was miss Thelma Patey, who had twin brothers working next door in alleyway fast young apprentice plumbers, for Mr Prose. . A methodist minister I believe. I was 17 years old at the time. Memory fading a bit now !
    Best wishes, George Piggott.
